Julia Richardson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Richardson was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
In other batting news, May Herrera was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in September of 2024. Anna Halverson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Niwot always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Montezuma-Cortez only posted an OBP of .348.
