Despite the defeat, Franklin Learning Center had strong showings from Makiyah Brunson, who scored ten points, and Kayla Sterling, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sterling has scored all season.
String Theory's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Franklin Learning Center, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. String Theory will square off against MAST Charter II at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin Learning Center, they will head out on the road to take on Parkway West at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Parkway West will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
