The Oxnard Yellowjackets stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Pacifica, posting a 91-7 win at home. Oxnard's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Azalea Kubic was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 16 steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Oliver, who scored 18 points along with seven steals.
Oxnard is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Pacifica, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
Oxnard will head out on the road to face off against Santa Barbara at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Barbara will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 629th, while Oxnard is ranked 56th). As for Pacifica, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dos Pueblos at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
