Ontario is 2-8 against Colony since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Ontario Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Colony Titans at 5:00 p.m. Ontario is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Ontario has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Ganesha with a sharp 52-30 victory on Thursday. With Ontario ahead 35-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Hailey McDow was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with 7 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Ontario's points. Another player making a difference was Grace Poulava, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Colony didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Whittier on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 51-46 win.
Ontario pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Colony, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Ontario came up short against Colony in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 37-27. Can Ontario avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
