Summit Charter Collegiate Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaden Perez led the charge by scoring 26 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perez has scored all season. Camille Cruz was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Orange Cove dropped their record down to 0-20 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
