There's no place like home for St. Bernard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Ferndale Wildcats on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Tyler Maples was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Luke Brunton was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

St. Bernard's pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Ferndale, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 11-3 record.

St. Bernard's wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-0 victory against South Fork on the 29th. As for Ferndale, they have also already played their next game, an 18-0 win against Hoopa Valley on the 29th.
