Wasco's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camila Almanza, who scored 9 points. Illiana Villanueva was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 4 steals.
Wasco's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Wasco's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Bakersfield at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th. As for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy, they will take on Kings Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
