On Saturday, everything came up roses for Blackhawk on the road against Harvest Prep as the team secured a 61-27 win. With that victory, Blackhawk brought their scoring average up to 52.5 points per game.
Leading Blackhawk to victory were Aubree Hupp and Alena Fusetti. Hupp scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds, while Fusetti went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 1 assists. The contest was Fusetti's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andrea Kinger, who scored 7 points.
Blackhawk's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Harvest Prep, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Blackhawk will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Regional at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Franklin Regional is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Harvest Prep, they will be playing at home against Thurgood Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
