Softball Recap: Meeker Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Meeker's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dale Pirates on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meeker's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Dale, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pirates beat Meeker by a score of 13-0 later that day.
