Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Edgewood's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to Geneva, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 30, 2024, but that streak is no more.
Struthers' win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Edgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.
Struthers got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Edgewood by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
