First Presbyterian Day never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Piedmont Academy on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 10-7. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 5-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

First Presbyterian Day let Gracyn Fuller and Addison Arnold run wild. Fuller went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Arnold went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those runs marked the first that Fuller has scored this season.

First Presbyterian Day's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Piedmont Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, First Presbyterian Day will head out to challenge Jasper County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Piedmont Academy, they will challenge Athens Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
