The Wakulla Christian School Saints and the Franklin County Seahawks squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Wakulla Christian School Saints had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 72-22 loss at the hands of the Seahawks. Wakulla Christian School has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Wakulla Christian School struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Franklin County racked up 13 assists.
Franklin County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lonnie O'neal, who scored 14 points along with four steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadiq Jones, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Wakulla Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Franklin County, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11.
Wakulla Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin County, they will square off against Port St. Joe at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Port St. Joe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
