The Mount Union Trojans lost against the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Mount Union fell 44-37 to Moshannon Valley. Mount Union has not had much luck with Moshannon Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Mount Union had strong showings from Syneira Cox, who scored nine points along with five rebounds, and Maddie Dimoff, who scored 12 points.
Mount Union has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Moshannon Valley, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Union will take on Northern Bedford County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
