Cheney RVT took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 72-39 victory over Vinal RVT. Cheney RVT has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Leading Cheney RVT to victory were Kanye Pitts and Mohamed Camara. Pitts scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Camara scored 22 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Camara has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Williams, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Cheney RVT pushed their record up to 12-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Vinal RVT, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheney RVT will stay at home for another game and welcome Manchester at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. Vinal RVT will take on Harvard Ellis Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harvard Ellis Tech has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19.
