Jorge Medina was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
