The Riverside Warriors will head out to face off against the Hillcrest Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Riverside's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Eastside. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Riley Bigler made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Sofia Gamrat and Livia Gillespie did most of the damage at the plate: Gamrat went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Gillespie went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Those two runs gave Gillespie a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bella Lupinacci, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Riverside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .679. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Hillcrest gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on Greenville with a sharp 9-2 win.
Olivia Baker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on nine hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Hillcrest let Skyla Benton and Chloe Cross run wild. Benton went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Cross went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Erielle Abercrombie, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Riverside's record now sits at 10-4. As for Hillcrest, their record is now 9-7.
Riverside was able to grind out a solid victory over Hillcrest in their previous meeting back in February, winning 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
