There's no place like home for The Webb Schools Gauls, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by Newport Christian at home to the tune of 48-18. With The Webb Schools ahead 25-5 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Leading The Webb Schools to victory were Pristine Thomas and Xajani Badkar. Thomas dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Badkar dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 steals. Badkar hasn't dropped below two steals for 19 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Rabadi, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
The Webb Schools pushed their record up to 12-9 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Newport Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
The Webb Schools will look to defend their home court on Monday against Western Christian at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Western Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Thursday. Newport Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
