South Fork took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Bernard's, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, St. Bernard's was able to grind out a solid win over Arcata, taking the game 49-41.
St. Bernard's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madelyn Shanahan, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Laila Florvilus, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, South Fork's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 79-22 defeat at the hands of Hoopa Valley. South Fork has struggled against Hoopa Valley recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
St. Bernard's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. As for South Fork, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Everything came up roses for St. Bernard's against South Fork in their previous matchup on January 5th as the squad secured a 66-15 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Bernard's since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
