Despite the loss, Southern Fulton still got an impressive performance from Andrea Elder, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, ten rebounds, and 13 blocks. Elder hasn't dropped below two blocks for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlynne McQuait, who scored eight points.
Northern Bedford County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Southern Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northern Bedford County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Everett at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. As for Southern Fulton, they will head out on the road to face off against Forbes Road at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Forbes Road is on a four-game streak of home wins, Southern Fulton a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
