Hueneme got themselves on the board against St. Bonaventure on Thursday, but St. Bonaventure never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Seraphs. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Joseph Pena was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Walter Nickerson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Hueneme is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for St. Bonaventure, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Hueneme will face off against Thacher at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Bonaventure, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Foothill Tech on the 4th.
