Chartiers-Houston has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chartiers-Houston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Capozzoli, who scored 18 points along with six steals. Another player making a difference was Allison Wingard, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Chartiers-Houston is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Sto-Rox, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chartiers-Houston will take on the Commodores at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Frazier will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 279th). As for Sto-Rox, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
