Big Bear bumped their record down to 2-17 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.8 points per game. As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Bear's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hesperia Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hesperia Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Big Bear in California (Hesperia Christian is ranked 472nd, while Big Bear is ranked 1276th). As for Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Academy for Academic Excellence at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
