The Tahoma Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Federal Way Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tahoma knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 17 games -- so hopefully Federal Way likes a good challenge.
Tahoma scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Kennedy Catholic 96-47 on the road. Tahoma has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.
Dalton Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Adam Davis, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Federal Way pushed their score all the way to 63 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Kentwood 68-63.
Tahoma's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points per game. As for Federal Way, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
Tahoma was able to grind out a solid victory over Federal Way in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 62-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tahoma since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
