Burlingame came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Hartford Jaguars by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Bearcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Burlingame easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19.

Burlingame's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-13. As for Hartford, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Burlingame is set to square off against their familiar foe Lebo at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hartford will face off against rival Madison on Tuesday.
