Head-Royce won against Redwood Christian on Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Jayhawks beat the Terra Nova Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-4. Considering the Jayhawks have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Head-Royce's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Terra Nova, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.

Head-Royce and Terra Nova should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Jayhawks (ranked 410th) will meet College Prep (ranked 878th) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Terra Nova will face off against More at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (361 vs. 908). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.5, the Knights 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
