The Overfelt Royals have not lost a match since January 12th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Neither they nor Gunderson could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Overfelt's first draw of the season.
Their goal came courtesy of
Jade Sarza, who's now up to nine this season.
With that draw, Overfelt's record moves to 5-8-1. As for Gunderson, they moved theirs to 10-2-2.
Overfelt will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Hill at 7:00 p.m. Hill will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Overfelt surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gunderson, they will head out on the road to challenge San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gunderson is coming into the matchup with four straight defeats on the road, meaning San Jose will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
