Jaxon Bone had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 251 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Bone was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Beavers, who rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Lanier Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 13-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cherokee Christian. Lanier Christian Academy has not had much luck with Cherokee Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
The King's Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Lanier Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
