After a string of three wins, Pacifica's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 9-3 to the Santa Barbara Dons. The Tritons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dons earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Pacifica saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devon Wilkes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another was JJ Carmona, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Santa Barbara, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season.

While Pacifica had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
