Longview pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.1 points per game. As for Klein Collins, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.
Longview will square off against DeSoto at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. DeSoto knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Longview likes a good challenge. Klein Collins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
