If Credo was riding high  fresh off their  33-5 takedown of Averroes last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Credo Gryphon had to suffer through a   46-15 loss at the hands of the Willits Wolverines. The Gryphon were down  32-10 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
 Despite the  defeat, Credo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Delaney Lannert  posted six  points.
  Cecily Potter went supernova for Willits,  dropping  a double-double on 17 points and 13  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Arion Martin, who  earned six points along with six  rebounds and six  steals.
Credo dropped their record down to 1-6 with the  loss, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Willits,  with the  victory, they broke their 13-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-2.
 Credo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  41-25  win against Elsie Allen on the 13th. Willits has also  already played their next game,  a  53-9  victory against Technology on the 12th.
