The Greater Latrobe Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Forest Hills Rangers at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Greater Latrobe will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 178th, while Forest Hills is ranked 40th).
Greater Latrobe unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 51-40 to Penn-Trafford.
In what's become a running theme this season, Forest Hills gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They put the hurt on Penn Cambria with a sharp 64-39 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Forest Hills has posted since December 7, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forest Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Mcleary, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcleary has scored all season. Addison Schirato was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Greater Latrobe's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Forest Hills, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3.
