Softball Recap: Gallup Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Gallup waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Grants Pirates 13-4. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won four contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win got Gallup back to even at 6-6. As for Grants, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-5.

Coming up, Gallup will be playing at home against Los Lunas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Bengals' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Grants, they will venture away from home to square off against Zuni at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
