Having just played yesterday, the Brockway Rovers will head out on the road to face off against the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on December 21st. Brockway will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 358th, while DuBois Central Catholic is ranked 72nd).
On Wednesday, Brockway was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-45 to Johnsonburg.
Meanwhile, DuBois Central Catholic waltzed into their match Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 41-34 win over Warren. Despite the win, that was the fewest points DuBois Central Catholic has scored all season.
Brockway now has a losing record at 3-4. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Brockway suffered a grim 56-36 defeat to DuBois Central Catholic in their previous meeting last Wednesday. Can Brockway avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
