The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Omaha Central, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 8-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Omaha Westside will venture away from home to  take on Lincoln East  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 9.8  runs per game this season. As for Omaha Central, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Bryan  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
