Meanwhile, Pope John Paul II gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 39-34 W over Renaissance Academy.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Brandywine Heights Area's victory pushed their record up to 2-0, while Pottsgrove's defeat dropped theirs down to 0-2.
Everything went Brandywine Heights Area's way against Pope John Paul II when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as Brandywine Heights Area made off with a 48-25 win.
