Hough lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kate Breault, who scored eight points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jacquelyn Jakubecy, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds.
Porter Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Miley Malcolm led the charge by scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds. Ashanti Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven assists and four steals.
Hough's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Porter Ridge, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.
