The Tuloso-Midway Warriors were the 77-61 winner over the West Oso Bears when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Tuloso-Midway was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 61-60 to West Oso. Tuloso-Midway has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
West Oso was led to victory by Josh Williams and Alex Soto. Williams scored 18 points, while Soto scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of C'angelo Richardson, who scored nine points.
Tuloso-Midway has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for West Oso, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Tuloso-Midway will be home for the holidays to greet Santa Gertrudis Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Oso, they will head out on the road to face off against Calallen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Calallen is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
