The Greater Johnstown Trojans had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 56-49 to Penn Cambria. Greater Johnstown lost against Penn Cambria in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-41 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Penn Cambria to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reagan Ronan, who scored 11 points. Ronan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Harpster, who scored 9 points.
Greater Johnstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Penn Cambria, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Johnstown will take on Clearfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Penn Cambria, they will head out on the road to face off against Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
