Dublin is on a three-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Milpitas a nine-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Dublin Gaels will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Milpitas Trojans at 3:30 p.m. Milpitas took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dublin, who comes in off a win.
Dublin barely beat Irvington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gaels blew past the Vikings 17-2 on Friday. The Gaels have beaten the Vikings the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vikings has come to flipping the script.
Brendan Weiss got the start for Dublin and what a start it was: he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Weiss a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

Kolby Breining

| 04/18/25 @ Foothill | 2 |
| 02/25/26 @ Kimball | 1 |
| 05/07/25 @ Dougherty Valley | 1 |
| 04/09/25 @ Alhambra | 1 |
On the hitting side, Kolby Breining was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryan Gonzalez, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Dublin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Irvington only posted an OBP of .125.
Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Milpitas was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They came up short against Leland, falling 12-1.
Austin Orolfo Jr. was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Orolfo Jr. is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
Dublin's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Milpitas, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
