Paramount's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Dominguez with a sharp 12-0 victory. That looming 12-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Pirates yet this season.
Fabricio Aguilar made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Ernesto Ramos looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on AdriAn Flores, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Norwalk saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Albidrez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
Paramount's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Norwalk, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
