Softball Recap: Shattuck Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Shattuck entered their tilt with Hooker on Thursday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Indians have won 15 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Shattuck's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Hooker, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shattuck will head out to take on Seiling at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indians 2.6, the Wildcats 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Hooker, they are taking a road trip to face off against Turpin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
