The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They blew past Yerba Buena 69-23 at home. Mt. Pleasant has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  matches by 22  points or more this season.
 It was another big night for  Snowe DeLeon, who  scored 29 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Mt. Pleasant's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Destinee Townes, who  scored 17 points.
 The  victory (which was Mt. Pleasant's seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Yerba Buena,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-11.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant will take on the Royals at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Yerba Buena, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. San Jose is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses.
