Baseball Recap: Lemoore Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Lemoore put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Sanger Apaches by a score of 6-3. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly three runs.

Chris Garcia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Garcia was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Landen Young was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ian Snell, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Lemoore's record is now 3-0. As for Sanger, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lemoore will challenge Kingsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sanger, they will take on Mt. Whitney at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sanger's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Mt. Whitney's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
