It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Rialto Knights had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They secured a 69-63 W over the Mustangs. The victory was familiar territory for Rialto who now have five in a row.
Carrington Davis was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 37 points and 12 rebounds. Davis is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Destiny Rabino was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with three steals.
Rialto's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.1 points. As for Roosevelt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-11.
Rialto will take on Fairmont Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rialto knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Fairmont Prep likes a good challenge. Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
