Fall River's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Allison Osborne, who scored 17 points along with nine steals. That's the first time this season that Osborne scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Serena Conway, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Mt. Shasta's defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-16. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.2 points per game. As for Fall River, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.
Mt. Shasta will be playing in front of their home fans against Modoc at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Modoc presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mt. Shasta in California (Modoc is ranked 297th, while Mt. Shasta is ranked 1171st). As for Fall River, they will head out on the road to challenge Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Trinity focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Friday.
