In other batting news, Hayden Atchley and Aubrey Perez did most of the damage at the plate: Atchley went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs, while Perez went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those six RBI gave Atchley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Iyanna Martinez, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.
Greeley West was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 11-3 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Greeley West has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.7 runs. As for Greeley Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.
