The Gompers Prep Academy Eagles posted their closest victory yet this season on Thursday. They skirted past San Diego Academy 32-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Gompers Prep Academy.
Nadia Mohamed was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kamariyah Mccollough, who scored ten points.
Gompers Prep Academy pushed their record up to 6-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for San Diego Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gompers Prep Academy will take on Bonsall at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Diego Academy, they will be playing at home against The Cambridge School at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cambridge School's defense has only allowed 18.1 points per game this season, so San Diego Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
