Estherville Lincoln Central never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Cherokee Washington Braves 10-0. Considering the Midgets have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Estherville Lincoln Central's third in a row) raised their record to 21-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Cherokee Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Estherville Lincoln Central will host Western Christian on Thursday. The Midgets are facing the Wolfpack at the right time seeing as the Wolfpack are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cherokee Washington, they will venture away from home to take on Missouri Valley on Thursday.
