The Magnolia Sentinels posted their biggest victory since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 46-24 margin over Santa Ana Valley. Magnolia has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Teresa Martinez, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elysia Dellia, who scored 11 points.
Magnolia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Santa Ana Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magnolia will take on Anaheim at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anaheim is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Santa Ana Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Century at 4:30 p.m. Century comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
