Baseball Recap: Rio Hondo Prep Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Rio Hondo Prep won against Chadwick last Tuesday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Kares sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Dolphins. The Kares haven't had any issues with the Dolphins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Rio Hondo Prep's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6 runs. As for Chadwick, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Rio Hondo Prep will square off against Polytechnic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.55 runs per game on average), something the Kares will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Chadwick, they will take on Providence at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dolphins are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
